College Panel Response

It was really interesting to hear how passionate the College panel were about teaching. It was awesome. They talked with such enthusiasm in their voice and you could tell that they enjoyed teaching. They gave some really good tips on how to prepare for college. They really stressed the fact that prioritizing is a must, if you do not then you will not make it in college. You have to put aside time to study and also have fun. Also, start working on your study habits now that way when you go to college, you will already know what strategy helps you study better. Surround yourself around positive people that way you won’t be so tempted in making bad decisions and you will stay focused on what is most important. Because the people that want to distract you from what’s important isn’t really your friend.

College is not something to play with!! Yes, you are grown and can make your own decisions but at the same time there are also consequences for your actions: so if you decide to skip class you’re wasting your money and the consequence for skipping class is that you will miss important information. Nevertheless, if you prioritize than you will be fine. I learned that college is all about self control and time management.
